Have you ever watched the TV show American Ninja Warrior where adults try to finish a crazy difficult obstacle course? Obstacle Warrior Kids in Farmers Branch (McKinney too) is full of kid-sized version of these obstacles, with adult supervision. Really!

My six year old and I check this place out at a birthday party last weekend and it’s amazing. Like other indoor play places it’s great fun for kids, and especially helpful on days when their energy level is high and outdoor play isn’t a great option.  Unlike some indoor play places, Lil’ Ninjas has multiple staff members helping out kids, sneakers are required in most areas, and there are seating areas for adults.

They have foam pits (under things like nets you can try to leap and catch), climbing structures, slides, rope nets, a basketball area and two huge dodge ball courts.  There is also a more padded play area for kids six and under where you don’t wear shoes.

They are open daily and charge for kids ages 2+ (adults are free) for a two-hour visit (you can purchase additional hours).  You have to fill out a waiver before your kids can play (do this there or online before you visit).  They have lots of space to host several birthday parties at a time and are building an adults-only gym in one area called Obstacle Warriors.
