Did you know there is a great indoor playground inside Prestonwood Baptist Church in west Plano? It’s free and open to the community! We went to check it out today and it’s really nice.

It’s not a huge space, but it’s tall and they take advantage of that height with the climbing and sliding play structure. My son had a tough time figuring out how to get to the very top at first, but I found a kind girl to help him. It’s very bright and colorful inside with several outside facing windows.

The smallest kids loved crawling and climbing through this groundhog-inspired structure, which has a nice padded area and a cool round window to outside. I try not to take photos of other people’s kids…so these are less than great but they should give you a good idea of what’s there.

Here’s a better photo from their website:

The play area is on your right after you go through the main entrance (look for the large entrance with the statue and fountain out front). You can’t miss it!

You need to check in at desk just past the play area first, kids need to keep their shoes on and you need to stay inside the play area. The playground is for kids 10 and under.

There are some seats inside, and friendly moms too. There are tons of seats outside the playground plus bathrooms and water fountains. No food, drinks or gum inside the play area. Visit their website for hours and have fun!
