Austin vs. Houston vs. DFW

Join Texas Parks & Wildlife (in conjunction with Texas Master Naturalists, the Audubon Society, and others) is hosting the City Nature Challenge from Thursday, April 14 – Tuesday, April 18, 2017.

Download the iNaturalist app (Android or iPhone):

  1. Get outside and observe an individual organism. Pick something wild, and take a clear, full-frame photo
  2. Share your observation with the iNaturalist community
  3. Learn: check back for activity on your observation from the community
  4. Contribute: your observation may be vetted as Research Grade and shared with scientists working to better understand and protect nature.
