The City of Plano is looking for volunteers in good physical condition and dressed to walk in the evening weather – no matter what it is – for a count of homeless people the night of Thursday, January 26th at 8:30pm.

After a training, you are given a map with specific areas of town to visit and search for people experiencing homelessness. You document your findings and return to City Hall by midnight. Walk teams go down to creeks, up hills, and near sewer drains. A Plano police officer will accompany each group. There are also drive teams.
