The Plano Walking Club is a non-profit club dedicated to easy exercise and family fun. Our club and our events are sanctioned by the American Volkssport Association (AVA). “Volkssport” is a German derived word which literally translated means “People’s Sports.”

The male adult soccer association for the North Texas, Dallas, Ft. Worth areas. This league is comprised of age group divisions for ages 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and over age brackets.

Plano Pacers Running Club

The club has over 700 members and is growing! Members include children and seniors, recreational and competitive runners. Plano Pacers is for all ages and ability levels. 5K races (plus some 10K and Junior Sprint 1K for ages 0-12) the last Saturday of each month at Bob Woodruff Park.

North Texas Runners
Our mission is to facilitate opportunities for runners to get together and run in the North Texas area. While the group’s Board of Directors mostly hails from the Collin County area, we encourage any runners and walkers in North Texas to join the group.

A free running support group for moms. This chapter covers Allen, McKinney, Plano & Frisco.

Plano Bicycle Association

Plano Bicycle Association
The Plano Bicycle Association (PBA) was started by the Parks and Rec department of the City of Plano some time in the early 1980’s.  It was spun off as an independent recreational bike club in the late 1980’s. The PBA is now an organization of more than 700 enthusiastic recreational road cyclists committed to providing both members and guests with safe, fun, and challenging group rides. We offer a wide range of leader-led rides throughout the week, as well as special events, so that any cyclist, regardless of speed or endurance, can participate in our cycling fun and camaraderie. We are dedicated to the fostering of responsible cycling.

Dallas Off-Road Bicycle Association
Our primary mission is providing access to great local trails. Your membership provides the tools and infrastructure used to build trails. It also lets local municipalities know that you care about and use the trails on their properties.

Plano Cycling and Fitness
This store offers a monthly women’s ride and a skills clinic. They also support PBA and DORBA rides.

Dallas Rowing Club
Providing the city of Dallas and surrounding communities the opportunity to learn the sport of rowing. We are happy to offer programs suitable for rowers of all ages and experience levels.

DFW TriClub
Around 40 workouts a month, a weekly open water swim, and with workout locations that span over 50 miles across DFW. Membership fee (they have coaches)

Plano Baseball Association (PBA)
Children, ages 3 -18 years play in league and tournaments in the spring and fall seasons. Camps, clinics and hitting leagues are offered in the off season. The Cages at PBA training facility is open all year.

Plano Sports Authority (PSA)
PSA provides quality year-round recreational and competitive sports leagues to over 100,000 youth who live the North Texas area. PSA offers: basketball, soccer, volleyball, football, cheer, dance team, baseball, fastpitch softball, martial arts, track, camps, rugby, wrestling, and golf. Additionally, PSA offers club or select sports with Texas Thunder Soccer and STORM Volleyball Club along with Basketball, Volleyball and Soccer Skills.

We are an independent club that supports students from Kindergarten to High School that attend the Plano Senior High School feeder system in the sport of lacrosse.
